Dr Subramanian Swamy speech during "Breaking India" book release function
Dr. Subramaniam Swamy was keynote speaker to honor Rajiv Malhotra, author of the best selling book, "Breaking India" (Amaryllis, 2011) in Bangalore, November 20th, 2011 Dr Swamy explains how the Britishers have used policies to divide-n-rule India. One of them was the Aryan-Dravidian myth propagated to alienate South India from North India. He explains how the history of India was distorted by British and continues to be taught in our history books. The concept of India's true identity needs to be taught and that is Sanatan Dharma. The Christians & Muslims can be fit into this past because they have the same ancestors as the Hindus. Dr Swamy emphasizes on the need for a counter-intellectual movement to counter the anti-Indian/left-wing/anti-Hindu intellectual forces. The word "Dravid" is itself Sanskrit and not Tamil. He further says that recent DNA studies done in India & abroad have shown that the DNA of all Indians is same. Today Christian Missionaries and Islamic aggression is trying to divide India. Dr Swamy also emphasizes that in today's India reservation is a tool which is being used to divide India. He says that reservations shud be given only to those classes who have never ruled India before. In the end, he explains how the Father of our Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar was harassed by Nehru because Nehru was jealous of his gr8 scholarly credentials and his pro-Hindu ideas and united cultures of India. They will give the peace of paper on which only amount will be written and then give that note to Mutual Fund and ask please invest this money (black money) in Stock Market. Because of such investment Stock Market booms and today our Stock market has become completely rigged. Because of this Middle class people are loosing money heavily. There was only one problem left whose solution also done by Mr Chidambaram. That if you sells that stock you have to pay 25% capital gain tax. So he suggested that if the money is coming via Mauritius route and if you create a 1$ company and if that company invests then there will not be any tax because Mauritius is a very small and poor country. Indian laws has been desinged in such a way that SEBI (Security exchange bureau of India) has been barred from asking any question about participatory notes. He talks about the issue of black money and how the UPA govt. has been trying hard to sppress teh documents containong names of those with illegal money in foreign banks. This casts a grave shadow of doubt over the intentions of UPA and its stand on corruption. However, corruption is not a matter to be taken lightly. He describes how it leads to inflation and substandard infrastructure and polarization of money. For example it leads to investment in luxury goods while goods for common man get expensive. Same for dwindling investment in areas of agriculture, food processing etc He also touches the issue of FDI and tells why it's an unbalaced economic choice for India. Dr Subramanian Swamy is exposing the frauds done by Congress party in Indian elections. Congress has done massive frauds in Electronic voting machine (EVM). Dr Swamy says that Congress won 90 Lak Sabha seats in 2009 by using EVM fraud. Dr Swamy says that in many polling both BJP and other parties got zero vote which is impossible. 2G spectrum made available consistent - Subramanian Swamy
Telecom regulator TRAI on Monday proposed a steep minimum price for auction of 2G telecom spectrum, setting off fears of a hike in mobile phone tariffs which are at present among the cheapest in the world. The regulator, whose recommendations are not binding on the government, valued 2G spectrum at about Rs 7 lakh crore, nearly seven times more than Rs 1.04 lakh crore that the government had received through auction of 3G spectrum in 2010. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) proposed a minimum or base price of Rs 3,622.18 crore for every mega Hertz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz band, where radio airwaves have been freed after the Supreme Court cancelled all mobile permits issued by the then telecom minister A Raja in 2008. The price set is around 10 times more than what companies such as Unitech Wireless, Swan Telecom and Shyam Telecom paid for at least 4.4 MHz of all-India spectrum in 2008.
