Sony Entertainment Television through a unique show called K for Kishore recreates the magic and relives the times of the legendary singer. Kishore Kumar is irreplaceable and now a few extremely talented young men who have tried to master the voice of the singer, will enthrall audiences and compete for the ultimate glory to be crowned Kishore Kumars Heir Apparent. K for Kishore is a unique music reality show which will run over 20 weeks with 12 contestants all professional and seasoned singers competing and aiming at being the voice closest to that of Kishore Kumar. The judges are popular music director and singer Bappi Lahiri who knew Kishoreda as a friend and musician and singer Sudesh Bhonsale who completed all Kishoredas incomplete film songs after his death. But what makes the show most unique is that, unlike most reality shows there will be no viewer voting. The judges and studio audiences will have the ultimate say in the contestants progression to the next round.

The film is a murder mystery that became a box office hit.The film stars Dharmendra, Asha Parekh, Sanjeev Kumar, Helen, Rehman, Bela Bose, Ramesh Deo and Johnny Walker. The films music is by Shankar Jaikishan and the lyrics is by Hasrat Jaipuri. Asha Parekh (2 October 1942) is a Bollywood actress, director, and producer. She was one of the top stars in Hindi films from 1959 to 1973 and is said to have starred in more hit films than any other actress.Asha Parekh was born into a middle-class Gujarati household . Parekh started her career as a child artiste under the screen name Baby Asha Parekh in the film Aasmaan (1952). Famed film director Bimal Roy saw her dance at a stage function and cast her at the tender age of twelve in Baap Beti (1954). The film's failure disappointed her and even though she did a couple more child roles. At sixteen she decided to try acting again and make her debut as a heroine, but she was rejected from Vijay Bhatt's Goonj Uthi Shehnai (1959) in favor of actress Ameeta, because the filmmaker claimed she was not star material. The very next day, film producer Subodh Mukherjee and writer-director Nasir Hussain cast her as the heroine in Dil Deke Dekho (1959) opposite Shammi Kapoor which made her a huge star. The film also led to a long and fruitful association with Hussain. He went on to cast her as the heroine in six more of his films: Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai (1961), Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon (1963), Teesri Manzil (1966), Baharon Ke Sapne (1967), Pyar Ka Mausam (1969), and Caravan (1971). She also did a cameo role for his film Manzil Manzil (1984). He also got her involved in distribution of films for 21 years, starting with Baharon Ke Sapne (1967). She was primarily known as a glamour girl/excellent dancer/tomboy in most of her films, until director Raj Khosla gave her a serious image by casting her in tragedienne roles in three of her favorite films: Do Badan (1966), Chirag (1969), and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1978). Director Shakti Samanta gave her more dramatic roles in her other favorite films, Pagla Kahin Ka (1970), and Kati Patang (1970), the latter earned her the Film fare Best Actress Award. Many important directors repeated her several times in their films, such as Vijay Anand, Mohan Segal and J.P. Dutta. After her days as a leading lady ended, she took on supporting roles as bhabhi (sister-in-law) and mother, but she called this the "awkward phase" of her career. So she stopped acting in films, and her friends recommended that she become a television director. Asha stopped acting in 1995 to pursue directing and producing television serials, but her acting accomplishments were not forgotten as she received the Film fare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. And she has continued to receive other Lifetime Achievement Awards: Kalakar Award in 2004; International Indian Film Academy Awards in 2006; Pune International Film Festival Award (2007); Ninth Annual Bollywood Award (2007) in Long Island, New York. She received the Living Legend Award from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Asha has remained unmarried, claiming that her reputation of being unapproachable made people hesitate in asking her hand in marriage. There were rumors that she was romantically involved with her married director Nasir Hussain. In her later years, Asha said that she had a longtime boyfriend but declined to elaborate on the relationship, only stating that "it was nice while it lasted." She said she hadn't seen Nasir Hussain the last year of his life, as he became reclusive because of his wife's death, but she did speak to him on the phone the day before he died in 2002. A devastated Asha attended his funeral. Today, she concentrates on her dance academy Kara Bhavan, which has produced many skilled dancers. The Asha Parekh Hospital in Santa Cruz, Mumbai is named after her because of her many contributions. Her considerable wealth provides for many of her social and charitable causes. When asked if she missed having a husband and children, her response was: "I don`t think so. There was a time when I did want to get married. I used to love children, I still love children, but now I feel that I am happy I am not married and don`t have kids, because I don`t think I would have been able to cope up with them."

Salman Khan goes shirtless on Dus Ka Dum

Salman Khan is surely riding high on success these days. While his latest film Wanted has emerged a money-spinner, even his much popular reality game show '10 Ka Dum' is doing extremely well and gathering high TRPs. In fact, the biggest of stars, right from Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Aamir Khan and the list goes on have been on the show promoting their respective films. And now this week, Salman has two of his closest friends, Govinda and director David Dhawan, along with Riteish Deshmukh will be playing '10 Ka Dum' and this particular episode surely promises to be super duper entertaining. While the trio of Govinda, David Dhawan and Riteish were on the show to promote their upcoming laugh-riot Do Knot Disturb, all of them have had so much fun on the sets of '10 Ka Dum' with Sallu miyan. But the main highlight of the show is when David coaxed Salman to take off his shirt, something which he has never done before on this show. Salman, who initially felt a bit awkward, gave in to David and Govinda's demands and removed his shirt much to the audiences' delight. In trademark style, he flaunted his chiseled torso and the audience couldn't have asked for more. Sallu looked in perfect shape and seemed to be having a ball of a time posing for the cameras and waving at the studio audiencetake a look!

It will star Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar. The female roles are played by Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif where the latter is said to be paired with Hrithik Roshan. The music will be composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The film is a male bonding road story about three friends. Shooting took place at various locations such as Spain, Egypt and India. Kabir has just met Natasha. 6 months later they are engaged. He wants to go on an extended bachelor party to spain. A 3 week road trip with Imraan and Arjun - his 2 best friends since school. The only problem is Arjun is too tied up with work. After much emotional blackmail and cajoling the boys set off on a journey they were meant to take 4 years ago. A fantasy holiday they had planned to take after college but never happened. A road trip where each one gets to do the ultimate sport of his choice and the other 2 just have to do it with him. Kabir, Imraan and Arjun meet up in Barcelona and set off on an adventure. In short, a holiday which will change their lives forever. Cast Hrithik Roshan as Arjun, a financial trader who works at a huge firm in London. Arjun grew up without a father and has seen tough life, his entire focus is to grow bigger better faster. Reluctant to leave his work, he agrees to go on this holiday. Farhan Akhtar as Imraan, a copywriter who works at an advertising agency in Delhi. Imraan is the bohemian, a closet poet. He is looking forward to Spain. Abhay Deol as Kabir, a wealthy young man who works with his father's construction company in Mumbai. He is bright, articulate and polite. Engaged to Natasha and off on his bachelor trip. Katrina Kaif as Laila, a bohemian fashion student in London. She takes time off to teach diving. This year in Spain, she meets up with three young men from India. Kalki Koechlin as Natasha, daughter of a rich hotelier. She is an interior designer and in love with Kabir.
