There was a ray of hope when he came to know that a newly discovered operation could restore her eyesight - but the money required was beyond what he could ever mange to earn. While there is an aristocrat lady Sarojini, who hates love marriages because her twin sister had a distressing experience because of love marriage and had gone astray after that. Sarojini Devi wished that her three grand daughters who had lost their parents, should have arranged marriages and should not fall in love. But she found it difficult to get them married to young men of her choice, because the eldest of the three sisters was a man-hater and the two young sisters were already in love. Sarojini Devi offers Ashok the job of breaking the love affairs of the two younger sisters and making the elder sister agreeable to the idea of marrying a young man of her granny's choice. To get the money for her sister's eye operation, Ashok accepts the offer and the unusual assignment. During his new position in the new household, where Ashok admirably succeeds in carrying out his assignment, but he himself falls in love with the eldest sister Asha. Granny gets furious, she exposes Ashok as a paid man and turns him out of the house. On reaching his own house empty handed Ashok discovers that his blind sister has been raped by an unknown criminal in his absence. Swearing revenge, Ashok set out in search of the rapist. The rapist, Pran in the meanwhile, has managed to get engaged to Asha. In a criminal conspiracy he abducts the honest granny and substituted her evil sister in her place. Ashok, in search of his sister, was injured in an explosion caused by Pran. In the hospital, he is nursed by none else than his own lost sister Roopa, who recovered her eyesight after the kind behaviour of a saintly surgeon. But feeling ashamed of her own dishonour, Roopa left the hospital without meeting her brother. Pran and Asha engaged, the granny abducted, his sister lost again.. Ashok finds that life was being too harsh upon him. He loses his faith in God, but soon he finds his sister again but she is critically ill.. he is left with no alternative but to pray for his sister's life. Yeh Hai Jalwa is a talent show running on Indian television. For those who don't know, it is a talent hunt for the "best" choreographer. They are given different types of people who don't know a thing about dancing and have to teach them to dance to their own choreography which is then marked by judges and the public votes determine who gets through to the next round. This particular episode was themed on Indian cinema with the competitors choosing a theme and choreographing a performance around it. This particular act is very heart touching for the message it sends and the team went on to win the event. I think this is worth watching and is sure to bring a tear to many peoples eyes. Priya informs Ram that few Bollywood actors are going to arrive in a short span of time in the Hotel in which they are staying in regards to their upcoming film's promotion but does not reveal him about his favorite Actress Vidya Balan's arrival, later Actor Emraan Hashmi tries to divert Media's attention as they were searching for Vidya Balan and Ram assumes Priya as Vidya Balan as she had worn a red Saree. Bade Acche Laggte Hai is the story of two strangers getting married ... and falling in love. Dey was born to Purna Chandra (father) and Mahamaya Dey (mother)on 1 May 1919. Besides his parents, his youngest paternal uncle Sangeetacharya (meaning "Venerable Teacher of Music" in Sanskrit) K. C. Dey highly inspired and influenced him. Dey received his early education in a small pre-primary school named Indu Babur Pathshala. Thereafter he attended Scottish Church Collegiate School and Scottish Church College, followed by Vidyasagar College where he received his graduate education. From his childhood Dey has pursued wrestling and boxing. Dey started his career in playback singing with the movie, Tamanna, in 1943. The musical score was by Krishna Chandra Dey and Manna sang a duet with Suraiya. The song was an instant hit. He sang a solo penned by Sachal Dev Burman, Upar Gagan Vishal, in the 1950 movie, Mashal. In 1952, Dey sang for a Bengali and a Marathi movie with the same name and storyline, Amar Bhupali. This established him as a leading playback singer. Accolades and awards; Mohammad Rafi once said to reporters: "You listen to my songs. I listen only to Manna Dey's songs". According to musicians Sachin Dev Burman and Anil Biswas, Manna Dey could sing any song of Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh and Talat Mehmood. Devar is a 1966 Hindi film directed by Mohan Sehgal. It stars Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Deven Verma and Shashikala. The music is by Roshan and the lyrics by Anand Bakshi.... Mukesh Chand Mathur (Hindi: मुकेश चन्द माथुर) (22 July 1923 27 August 1976) was an Indian playback singer of Bollywood. Along with Mohammad Rafi, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar, he dominated Indian film playback music from the 1950s to the 1970s. Mukesh's voice was noticed by Motilal (a popular actor in Hindi films, also a distant relative of Mukesh) when he sang at his sister's wedding. Motilal took him to Bombay, let him stay with him and even arranged for singing lessons by pandit jagannath prasad for him. During this period, Mukesh managed to bag a role in a Hindi film, Nirdosh (Innocent) (1941). His first song was dil hi bujha hua ho to as an actor singer for Nirdosh. He got his break as a playback singer for Actor Motilal himself in 1945 with the film Pehli Nazar'music by Anil Biswas & Lyrics by Aah Sitapuri' (First Look). The first song he sang for a Hindi film was Dil Jalta Hai to Jalne De (If the heart burns, let it burn), which was incidentally picturised on Motilal. Mukesh died of a heart attack on 27 August 1976 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, where he had gone for a concert. His body was carried back to India by Lata Mangeshkar, where a grand funeral ceremony took place as many famous actors, personalities of the Indian film industry, and fans paid tribute to the late singer. When the news of his death reached Raj Kapoor, he remarked, "I have lost my voice," which is a testimony to the timeless and unforgettable association of Mukesh's voice (in playback) to the immensely popular songs of Raj Kapoor's films. She debuted in a 1968 film Sapnon Ka Saudagar ("The Dreamseller"), playing a young teen opposite the ageing superstar Raj Kapoor. With Dev Anand in Johnny Mera Naam (1970), Hema became a top star. She worked with him again in other films as well, with the latest being Aman Ke Farishtey (2003). Hema double-rolled with Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar in 1972s Seeta Aur Geeta as the top female star in Bollywood. She became one of the reigning divas of the Bollywood film industry, and her fans called her The Dream Girl of Bollywood.
