Dr Subramanian Swamy speech during "Breaking India" book release function

Dr. Subramaniam Swamy was keynote speaker to honor Rajiv Malhotra, author of the best selling book, "Breaking India" (Amaryllis, 2011) in Bangalore, November 20th, 2011 Dr Swamy explains how the Britishers have used policies to divide-n-rule India. One of them was the Aryan-Dravidian myth propagated to alienate South India from North India. He explains how the history of India was distorted by British and continues to be taught in our history books. The concept of India's true identity needs to be taught and that is Sanatan Dharma. The Christians & Muslims can be fit into this past because they have the same ancestors as the Hindus. Dr Swamy emphasizes on the need for a counter-intellectual movement to counter the anti-Indian/left-wing/anti-Hindu intellectual forces. The word "Dravid" is itself Sanskrit and not Tamil. He further says that recent DNA studies done in India & abroad have shown that the DNA of all Indians is same. Today Christian Missionaries and Islamic aggression is trying to divide India. Dr Swamy also emphasizes that in today's India reservation is a tool which is being used to divide India. He says that reservations shud be given only to those classes who have never ruled India before. In the end, he explains how the Father of our Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar was harassed by Nehru because Nehru was jealous of his gr8 scholarly credentials and his pro-Hindu ideas and united cultures of India. One of the key Indian politician (Sonia Gandhi) complained to P Chidambaram that instead of giving interest on our Black money Swiss banks are charging 2% service Charge. So Mr Chidambaram came with a new idea. He created a new financial derivative called "Participatory Notes". So what is participatory notes? You take rupees give it to Hawala man and Hawala man will send that to Europe. Take that money in USD and give that money to Morgan Stanley or Fidelity Investment and put that money in counter and say give me the participatory notes. Only country in the world which has Participatory Notes is India. They will give the peace of paper on which only amount will be written and then give that note to Mutual Fund and ask please invest this money (black money) in Stock Market. Because of such investment Stock Market booms and today our Stock market has become completely rigged. Because of this Middle class people are loosing money heavily. There was only one problem left whose solution also done by Mr Chidambaram. That if you sells that stock you have to pay 25% capital gain tax. So he suggested that if the money is coming via Mauritius route and if you create a 1$ company and if that company invests then there will not be any tax because Mauritius is a very small and poor country. Indian laws has been desinged in such a way that SEBI (Security exchange bureau of India) has been barred from asking any question about participatory notes. He describes how it leads to inflation and substandard infrastructure and polarization of money. For example it leads to investment in luxury goods while goods for common man get expensive. Same for dwindling investment in areas of agriculture, food processing etc He also touches the issue of FDI and tells why it's an unbalaced economic choice for India. 2G spectrum made available consistent - Subramanian Swamy

Telecom regulator TRAI on Monday proposed a steep minimum price for auction of 2G telecom spectrum, setting off fears of a hike in mobile phone tariffs which are at present among the cheapest in the world. The regulator, whose recommendations are not binding on the government, valued 2G spectrum at about Rs 7 lakh crore, nearly seven times more than Rs 1.04 lakh crore that the government had received through auction of 3G spectrum in 2010. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) proposed a minimum or base price of Rs 3,622.18 crore for every mega Hertz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz band, where radio airwaves have been freed after the Supreme Court cancelled all mobile permits issued by the then telecom minister A Raja in 2008. The price set is around 10 times more than what companies such as Unitech Wireless, Swan Telecom and Shyam Telecom paid for at least 4.4 MHz of all-India spectrum in 2008. Subramanian Swamy says Caste system is not on the basis of Birth in Hindu religion

In Ancient India two great Rishi's, one was "Rishi Bhrigu" and other was "Rishi Bhardwaj", met to discuss how to structure a stable society. Then "Rishi Brigu" said there are four sources of power in a society and we must ensure that nobody has more than one of that. The four sources are 1. Knowledge, 2. Weapons, 3. Wealth, 4. Land. These should not be in one hand, not even two should be in one hand. So those who has knowledge will not have wealth, will not have weapons and will not have lands. Those who will have weapons will rule the country but they will not make policy. They need to go to people having knowledge to seek their permission and advice. Those who are having wealth, their social status will be decided by the how much philanthropy they do not by their wealth. Those who has lands have to produce for the society. In fact none of these four category or "varna" was based on by birth. "Ved Vyasha" who was a Maharishi, who wrote the "Mahabharat". His mother was a fisher women. Maharishi "Valmiki" who wrote the "Ramayan" was considered as child of a Dalit women. 'Kalidasha" who is the greatest poet our country has produced, was a Hunter. "Rishi Vishwamitra" who was considered as Rishi of Rishi was born in "Kshatriya" family. It proves that Hindu Dharma does have have "varna" or "caste' on the basis of Birth. The Ravana was a "Brahmin" whom no Hindu worship. So every Hindu needs to understand that caste system is not by birth and should reject it completely. "A true celebration of excellence in Indian Cinema, the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards 2011 in Mumbai on the 19th February 2012 was a larger than life spectacle; a glorious representation of its legacy of over five decades. Through the years, Filmfare has become the most awaited event in the industry. It was a night to be remembered as everyone looked on with pride and admiration at the coveted Black Lady was presented to the deserving winners. With a slew of performances by the biggest names in filmdom, the annual Idea Filmfare Awards is now an extravagant gala of glitz, glamour, excitement and entertainment. This year, the Filmfare Awards was hosted by the King Khan Shahrukh Khan and the charming Ranbir Kapoor who bought the house down with their wit and humour. There were power packed performances with the beautiful Kareena Kapoor, vivacious Priyanka Chopra, charming Deepika Padukone and the sizzling Rakhi Sawant setting the stage on fire. The newly wedded star couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza performed on the evergreen Pehla Nasha while SRK brought back his Dilwale days dancing to Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna . Zindagi Na Miley Dobara took away the award for the Best Movie while Rockstar Ranbir won the Best Actor Award. Vidya Balan with her "ooh La la" performance won the Best Actress award"
