Dr Subramanian Swamy speech during "Breaking India" book release function

Dr. Subramaniam Swamy was keynote speaker to honor Rajiv Malhotra, author of the best selling book, "Breaking India" (Amaryllis, 2011) in Bangalore, November 20th, 2011 Dr Swamy explains how the Britishers have used policies to divide-n-rule India. One of them was the Aryan-Dravidian myth propagated to alienate South India from North India. He explains how the history of India was distorted by British and continues to be taught in our history books. The concept of India's true identity needs to be taught and that is Sanatan Dharma. The Christians & Muslims can be fit into this past because they have the same ancestors as the Hindus. Dr Swamy emphasizes on the need for a counter-intellectual movement to counter the anti-Indian/left-wing/anti-Hindu intellectual forces. The word "Dravid" is itself Sanskrit and not Tamil. He further says that recent DNA studies done in India & abroad have shown that the DNA of all Indians is same. Today Christian Missionaries and Islamic aggression is trying to divide India. Dr Swamy also emphasizes that in today's India reservation is a tool which is being used to divide India. He says that reservations shud be given only to those classes who have never ruled India before. In the end, he explains how the Father of our Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar was harassed by Nehru because Nehru was jealous of his gr8 scholarly credentials and his pro-Hindu ideas and united cultures of India. 2G spectrum made available consistent - Subramanian Swamy

Telecom regulator TRAI on Monday proposed a steep minimum price for auction of 2G telecom spectrum, setting off fears of a hike in mobile phone tariffs which are at present among the cheapest in the world. The regulator, whose recommendations are not binding on the government, valued 2G spectrum at about Rs 7 lakh crore, nearly seven times more than Rs 1.04 lakh crore that the government had received through auction of 3G spectrum in 2010. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) proposed a minimum or base price of Rs 3,622.18 crore for every mega Hertz of spectrum in the 1800 MHz band, where radio airwaves have been freed after the Supreme Court cancelled all mobile permits issued by the then telecom minister A Raja in 2008. The price set is around 10 times more than what companies such as Unitech Wireless, Swan Telecom and Shyam Telecom paid for at least 4.4 MHz of all-India spectrum in 2008. Wild Elephant charges, Kerala, INDIA

In search of wild elephant herds, 'www.indiavideo.org' video crew was exploring the forest areas of Muthanga and Tholpetty in the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala State, India. The daylong search finally met with success by evening, when the crew spotted one herd in the Tholpetty forest area. The crew quickly swung into action and mounted the camera on top of the van that they were traveling. As they began to shoot the elephant herd, a jeep came in from the opposite direction from where the crew was standing. The movement of the Mahindra Jeep provoked a he elephant in the herd and he made a dash towards the Mahindra Jeep. The charging elephant was stopped couple of metres from the jeep, as the driver switched on the lights along with continuous honking. This practice of switching on the lights and sounding the horn is usually done to scare elephants, but may not work always. The he elephant backed off into the forest and then made one hesitant move without success. Once the elephant was at a safe distance from the jeep, the driver moved the vehicle with great speed. But to the surprise of every one, the she elephant came back and gave one final charge at the jeep, which by that time sped away to safety. Gordon Brown has raised the possibility of a human rights investigation There are numerous reports of sexual assaults in the government-run camps, and claims that groups of young men are being rounded up and taken away. United Nations Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon will demand unfettered access to the camps during his visit to the country, as well as access to other areas which have been off-limits to aid workers and journalists for months. More than 40 camps have been set up to cope with more than 200,000 people left homeless by the long-running conflict. The people inside the camps are kept behind barbed wire and are not allowed to leave. Sri Lanka's government says they are being "processed", as they believe Tamil Tiger rebels may be hiding among the civilians. In written statements Sky News has obtained, the Tamils talk about overcrowding in the camps and being separated from their families. One Tamil woman who agreed to talk to Sky News on condition of anonymity said: "We believe women are being raped and young men are being disappeared. "We don't know what is happening to them because there is no transparency and no information." Oxfam are one of a number of organisations, including the UN, calling for greater access to the camps. Acting country director for Oxfam, David White told Sky News: "These camps are huge and it is very difficult to deliver the aid on foot or by bike as has been suggested." He said there also appeared to be a campaign of pressure against the non-government organisations (NGOs), with insinuations that many aid workers sympathised with the Tamil Tiger rebels. "This often happens in the local newspapers," he said. "There is not a very favourable portrayal of us, and we are often seen as the White Tigers." Refugees receive medical treatment Government officials have regularly criticised the aid agencies in news conferences and interviews. One official even suggested aid workers themselves may be responsible for abuses in the camps. "There are plenty of blue-eyed children in the camps," said Professor Rajiva Wijesinha. "I think you'll find plenty of NGOs have been having fun in the camps." Many in the government believe there is a bias in the western media against Sri Lankan military policy. Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband have both raised the possibility of an investigation into possible human rights abuses by both sides. Among the Tamil minority, there is a deep worry about whether they really can integrate into society. "We feel no one is there to defend us now," said one woman. "We feel very alone." Devikanam yuganantu sahastram parisankhyaya BRAHMmekmahrgyeyam tavati ratrireva cha. Thus It says : [ Reproduced from page 13 & 14 By Yogananda's guru SWAMI YUKTESHWAR Giri's THE HOLY SCIENCE ] " 4000 years , they say , is the KRITI YUGA [Satya yuga or the golden age of the world ]. Its morning twilight has just has many hundreds, and its period of evening dusk is of the same length [i.e. 400 + 4000 + 400 = 4800 ]. Manu says : In the other three YUGAS with there morning and evening twilights ,the 1000 and the hundred decreased by one [i.e. 300 + 3000 + 300 ] etc. That four fold cycle comprising 12000 years is called an Age of the GODS.The sum of the thousand DIVINE AGES constitutes ONE DAY OF BRAHMA;and the same lent is its night.Thus the time period of 4 YUGAS are : SATYA YUGA = 400+ 4000 + 400 = 4800 Years. DWAPER YUGA = 200+2000 + 200 = 2400 Years KALI YUGA = 100 + 1000 +100 = 1200 Years 12000 YEARS, THE SUM TOTAL OF ALL PERIODS OF THESE 4 YUGAS IS THE LENGTH OF THE DAIVA YUGAS or electric couple, two of which, that is 24000 years make the ELECTRIC CYCLE COMPLETE. Sri Yukteswar (10 May 1855 - 9 March 1936)describes an interesting variant of the Hindu theory of ages. According to him,...the sun, with its planets and their moons, takes some star for its dual and revolves around it in about 24,000 years of our earth-a celestial phenomenon which causes the backward movement of the equinoctial points around the zodiac. The sun also has another motion by which it revolves round a grand center called Vishnunabhi, which is the seat of the creative power, Brahma, the universal magnetism. Brahma regulates dharma, the mental virtue of the internal world. Yukteswar goes on to explain that the sun's 24,000 year revolution around its companion star takes the sun progressively closer, and then progressively further away from the mystic center Vishnunabhi. In his system, dharma increases as we approach Vishnunabhi and decreases as we draw away from it. The cycle of yugas takes place twice in each 24,000 year revolution. As the sun recedes from Vishnunabhi, the ages pass in the usual order: Satya, Treta, Dvapara, Kali. As the sun approaches Vishnunabhi, the ages pass in the opposite order: Kali, Dvapara, Treta, Satya. Arkansas School Teacher, Solona Islam Pleads Guilty to Prostitution

Police arrest a school teacher for prostitution. Solona Islam went from valedictorian at McClellan High School to agreeing to sell her body for sex inside a motel room. Islam was busted by police and arrested for prostitution in October. She says, "I was scared more than anything else because I was thinking of my son. If I do go to jail, what am I supposed to do?" Islam says her financial struggles with credit card debt and caring for an 18-month-old son led her to make a poor decision. Little Rock School District officials found out about the incident earlier this month and placed the algebra instructor on paid leave. Islam decided to resign after meeting with her boss on Friday. She says, "I was scared more than anything else because I was thinking of Fortunately for Islam she didn't go to jail. She pleaded guilty to a prostitution charge and paid a $640 fine. Now, she says she is trying to put this behind her. Islam says she has a masters and is working on a Ph.D. She isn't sure what she will do next.

Media Matters wrote that Glenn Beck "falsely claimed" Anita Dunn did not say her two favorite philosophers were Mao Ze Dong and Mother Theresa when she was a addressing students in the summer of 2009. Well let's see. Fox News exposed Anita Dunn, who is part of Barack Hussein Obama's inner circle, as she quoted Mao Zedong who was behind the death of around 70 million Chinese people. Here is what Dunn said; "A lot of you have a great deal of ability, a lot of you work hard. Put them together and that answers the why not' question. There's usually not a good reason and then the third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers - Mao Tse Tung and Mother Teresa, not often coupled with each other but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is you're going to make choices..." I can understand Mother Theresa, who btw, was anti-abortion and extremely religious, but Mao Zedong killed millions of people.
