This movie is the sequel to the cult classic 'Nagina' where the battle rages to possess the 'Naag Mani'. After the tragic deaths of Rajiv and Rajni, their only daughter Neelam (Sridevi) is sent to live in the city. Years later, Neelam has grown up and returns to visit their palatial home in the village. Her grandfather wants her to stay and look after the business there, but she refuses and wants to leave for the city. But when Neelam meets Anand (Sunny Deol), she decides to stay and they fall in love and decide to get married. What Neelam does not know is that Anand was a snake kept in captivity by the wicked sage Goraknath (Anupam Kher), who wants to possess the 'Naag Mani'. Goraknath uses Anand to gain control over Neelam for she is the only one who knows the gem's location. Soon a vicious battle ensues where Goraknath does everything in his power to destroy Neelam and locate the two snakes holding the precious gem. How will Neelam vanquish Goraknath? Can Anand break free of Goraknath's curse? Who will win the final battle?
