Toše (Todor) Proeski, the Macedonian representative at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest (with the Song „Life or „Angel si ti) who died in a car crash on a Croatian motorway on October 16th, 2007 at the age of 26, was born in Krusevo, Republic of Macedonia in ex Yugoslavia, on 25th January 1981.
Toše, a deeply religious person by nature, was also well known for his humanitarian work over the years. He played many charity concerts throught Macedonia and was the Mother Theresa Humanitarian Award. In 2003 he became a Regional UNICEF Ambassador and the following year he was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. His song This world became the UNICEF anthem.
On behalf of all the good work that Toše did, let us help children without parents, let us help the poor, let us donate to the people of Haiti! Thank you from my heart!
